What Are The Worst Albums Ever?

Bruce

Q Magazine published it's list of the 50 worst albums ever made.  I can't believe Naomi Campbell's techno-diva album Babywoman and Bruce Willis's bluesy The Return of Bruno made the list. Those are classics of the humiliating celebrity side project genre.

But the number #1 worst album ever made according to the magazine? Duran Duran's Thank You, an album in which the 80's rockers cover songs by legends like Bob Dylan, Lou Reed and Grandmaster Flash. I guess it was just their little way of saying thank you for not having to write new music.

View the entire list of the 50 worst albums ever after the jump. Then tell us which albums you think should have made the list...

Posted by: piper | Apr 19, 2006 5:45:58 PM

Shatner should be further up on that list...

Posted by: alyx | Apr 19, 2006 5:49:17 PM

no way can you but beck on that list, that's a sorry excuse for being an idiot

Posted by: pissed | Apr 19, 2006 6:49:24 PM

More importantly, why the hell is Bruce Willis' album in there? Come on people, when Bruno is back you'd better not diss.

Posted by: sfgadsfg | Apr 19, 2006 7:07:12 PM

Fuck you cock-suckers, that list blows more than your mom.

Posted by: collegehumor.com | Apr 19, 2006 7:15:23 PM

Haha no, sfgadfg, the reason Limp Bizkit's album is on that list is because it sucks more dick than George Michael on heat.

Q is the UK's biggest music magazine - therefore they are right, and you are thoroughly wrong.

Beck shoudn't be on the list, though, he is pretty good.

this list is obviosly a crock of shit, theres so much they are missing, what about randy savages rap album, or hulk hogan and the wrestling boot band, or better yet, where is joe pesci's album were he sings as our favorite cousin vinnie? these are all extremly terrible and i doubt that they are any better than anything else on this list

Posted by: gianni | Apr 19, 2006 7:25:00 PM

why isn't aqua on the list? remember... the barbie girl song... and all the other songs on the album that sounded exactly the same as the barbie girl song... well you probably don't remember all the other songs on the album because you weren't stupid enough to buy the album like my little sister... actually it wasn't my little sister who bought the album it was me, but that's neither here nor there, it should be on the list.

Posted by: fuker | Apr 19, 2006 7:29:42 PM

wow these people are idiots. No doubt these albums suck but they missed a shitload of worse ones. Hell I hate limp bizkit but even I think that it doesn't deserve to be in the top 10.

Posted by: k2 | Apr 19, 2006 7:37:19 PM

Q magazine is fuckin shit. its full of indie crap. limp bizkit shouldnt be there. Q magazine officially sucks dick. seriously..

Posted by: MJ | Apr 19, 2006 7:50:01 PM

another thing.. collegehumour.com you suck a load of arse nuggets, who cares if its the biggest music magazine the biggest selling album before the arctic shite was hear say.. doesnt that tell you how stupid the british public are? fuckwit.

Posted by: Mj | Apr 19, 2006 7:53:32 PM

What? No "St. Anger"?

Posted by: Anonymous | Apr 19, 2006 7:57:29 PM

Beck's midnight vultures?
Idiots.
Midnight vultures, fantastic album, and it was grammy nominated for best album.

Posted by: pissoff | Apr 19, 2006 8:06:59 PM

If i remember correctly, that Limp Bizkit album got good reviews when it came out. Talk about hypocritical as this Q magazine was probably one of the mags. that liked it.

Rolling Stone gave it 3 1/2 stars. Not saying it deserved that but #11 worst? Come on. This list is a joke. They should have left out the gimmick albums like Naomi Campbell and Bruce Willis.

Posted by: Ben | Apr 19, 2006 8:22:45 PM

You're way off with this list. You didn't even include these horrible albums

Albums That Sucked
http://www.i-mockery.com/bad-albums

You can't deny that each and every one of those is far worse than the ones on this list

Posted by: Stephan | Apr 19, 2006 8:27:48 PM

WTF, Midnight Vultures is a damn good albumn. The authors are turd burglaring douche bags!

Posted by: Alex | Apr 19, 2006 8:29:08 PM

How could Fabio's "After Dark" not be on the list????

Posted by: katie | Apr 19, 2006 8:30:53 PM

i hate it when magazines do lists like this, you cannot group these albums together. Something tells me that The star wars christmass album was way worse than anything beck could of ever of done. Midnight Vultures has some great parts to it, Pressure Zone, Broken Train, Mixed Bizness, and buetiful way are all great songs. The only reason beck is on this list is because everyone expected alot more of him, its pathetic to see that greatist musician of the 90s on the same list as Shatner. This is just a couple of magazine editors egos getting the best of them. Hey Q if i wanted to read egotistical bullshit, i would read Spin.

Posted by: ian | Apr 19, 2006 8:35:13 PM

I think putting my album up there is a comment on how it is subpar compared to Odelay, Sea Change, and maybe Guero. Anyway, fuck off, I'm rich.

Posted by: beck | Apr 19, 2006 8:35:50 PM

i'm really confused as to why/how fischerspooner's "#1" is on that list. but then again, i'm sure they picked a few that people would get annoyed by so they could sell more magazines.

and no inclusion of the post-morrison doors album or the post-john fogerty CCR album? gay.

Posted by: stephen | Apr 19, 2006 8:39:26 PM

Who the hell put midnight vultures on this list? How could any of Beck's albums make someones bottom 50. Shame and misfortune come to whoever made this list.
