SIZZLER: Kimora Lee & Russell Simmons Filing For Divorce
People magazine confirms that producer Russell Simmons and mega-diva bitch Baby Phat designer Kimora Lee Simmons are splitting up.
According to People, the couple met in 1992 when she was 17-years-old and finishing up high school and he was a 35-year-old self-admitted ladies man. I can't believe this didn't last...
It's believed that Kimora Lee will ask for upwards of 100-Bajilliondy Dollars in the split. [link via Gawker)

This covergirl marriage was so obvious from the start. Russell's brother predicted this a long time ago. Kimora is gold digger and has no self respect for herself since she knew all along Russel is gay.
I feel bad for the two children in all this. Russell got a good deal outta the marriage but he is gonna pay handsomely for her popping out two kids for him. She had a plan all along. I just wonder if she was artificially inseminated. I wouldn't put it past there arrangement.

I am so happy that this has finally happened! I think it should be a lesson to ALL Black men: DO NOT be fooled by the looks/body (Kimora), big butt (J-Lo), etc. It's time for Russell to find a TRUE 100% AFRICAN QUEEN- and not settle for anymore juveniles looking for a dick and a dime!

This sucks so bad. He married a supermodel. She married a millionaire. What more do you want? Two gorgeous kids: done. A house big enough to live in opposite wings: done. Apparently with all the money they have- they still couldn't afford counseling.

They've been together for 15 years, which means Kimora was only 15 years old and russel was 33,that is sick if you ask me...so what if Kimora was only using him? That was sick what he did anyway, matter of facts she lost her youth with him and i think she now deserves everything she can get from him.

Really, this is just typical, everyday life, just with a dude who has a lot of money. He met a chick who had a goals to have babies and marriage, thereby earning her a guaranteed future with money and he's set for life. He's old, she's not, he's spiritual, she's not, she spends carelessly, he doesn't (see that Cribs episode where she hijacked his show lol). She's too much of a bad investment, and was from start, to any business man. What was he thinking dabbling in the superficial world? You always pay there!

It was a successful marriage that i thought would last a while, Russell is definately not in her height range, but none the less they worked. The kids are gorgeous... it's a real pity it's over with. What about Aoki Lee & Ming Lee..What about the children.. i hope they won't be affected by it.

I just have to say, I hope this doesn't happen to me once my husband makes it big time. I think much to offten people forget why they fell in love to begin with. I"m not super religious or anything, but I do like the bibles definition of Love. I promise myself that I would make every effort to be a good mother and wife. And if that isn't good enough for him then it will be for someone else. Just know that you can't blame any one person for the split but that it takes 2 to make or break a long time marriage, or relationship. One more thing you never know what's going on in someone elses household. I Wish them the best and I hope it doesn't happen to me!! Falling out of lonv with a long time partner happens everyday it's hard as hell escpeically for the kids. Leave them the fu-k alone. One day the kids will be old enough to read what you people say so don't hurt them.

First of all, I cannot believe the ignorance of some people. It is so sad to see that people like this Crystal whom obviously has probably just a 3rd grade education are making such nasty comments. I will assure you (as some of the others have already mentioned) Kimmora had much, much paper before Russell came along...so before you make comments like that you should 1)go to school get a GED (you could maybe even get it online - and be more productive on the internet) or 2) pull up a dictionary with you when you start writing these messages. Divorces happen on a daily basis. It shouldn't be a big deal because these two happen to have a little money. Marriage should be taken seriously. Divorce is not honorable period; doesn't matter how financially secure you are. When they die, I can assure you that the grave dug for them will not be big enough so that they can take all their worldy posssesions with them. Once our morales and ethics change, the world will become a much better place.

I would just like to say that I am very sad to see a successful couple like the Simmons break up. Hopefully they will realize what they have had with each other for the past 15 years and stay together. Every couple hits a slump. Hopefully this is what that is and they will get back together.
