SIZZLER: Bill Paxton and Chloe Sevigny Angered by "Bunny" Question

1606765_10

Bill Paxton and Chloe Sevigny were taken off guard on The View, and it seems they weren't too happy about it:

We hear Paxton and Sevigny went ballistic yesterday on the set of "The View" when co-host Joy Behar brought up that infamous scene in the indie flick Brown Bunny where Sevigny pleasures Vincent Gallo. Though the actors masked their fury from viewers, Paxton is said to have exploded off-camera. According to one source, he even vowed never to appear on the show again. Sevigny has frequently discussed the scene from the controversial 2003 film, but Paxton apparently didn't want her to have to relive it on a daytime talk show.

He really takes his TV-husband duties seriously, and good for him. That question was completely out of left field and stupid, even for Behar. Apparently, the exchange was edited out for west-coast viewers. See the video.

Well, the truth is: She DID do it! Nobody held a gun to her head. If she didn't ever want to be asked about it, if it is something to be ashamed of...Well, the airheaded bimbo shouldn't have DONE IT!
And while B Paxton was very nice to "defend her honor" Who does he think he is? Her daddy? She's a big girl. She needs to not do things that are so bad they humiliate her later. Pretty simple, huh?

I'm with Paxton on this one...when she's promoting an HBO show and she's trying to distance herself from a scene that she obviously regrets (or maybe the fact that she *CRIED* when the movie premiered at Cannes wasn't a clue), it's insane for Behar to ask her a question out of left field about it.

Would the ladies from the View ask Stallone about the soft-core porn he did when he was trying to raise money for Rocky? I doubt they'd ask Richard Gere about that gerbil rumor, either.

Please- it is really simple- she blew the guy on film to do something OUTRAGEOUS. The scene should and will haunt her forever. AND on top of that it was Gallo a racist anti-semite- yechh.

Still, Joy came out of nowhere to blast this woman. Not nice Joy.

Joy is an embarrassment to anyone with good character. Who does she think she is asking such a rude, inappropriate question? Did she think it would make herself appear more dignified as a woman to belittle another? I think she wishes she could have performed the oral sex herself because she probably hasn't gotten that opportunity in years. What a lazy, self-indulgent disgusting excuse for a human being.

Furthermore, Chloe Sevigny is an actress. There are many nude and sexual scenes in films. The decision she made should not have to haunt her or shame her. People that feel that way need to open their minds and understand the industry. She is a human being and there was no acceptable explanation for Joy calling her out on something so irrelevant.

I think Bill handled that well. He was sitting right next to Chloe and could see her looking very uncomfortable. Maybe she has handled this herself in the past, but he had a right to say something instead of just sitting there and deciding to stay out of it. If he sat quietly he wouldn't come off as somebody who figured his costar could defend herself. He'd just look like a jerk who didn't give a shit watching everyone squirm!

what a total cow for asking her that question.
total. fucking. cow.
who the fuck does she think she is?
the lamest show ever.
can it.
think chloe really is bummed she took that part?
i mean, she's known for taking unpredictable roles in movies.
she long had that cock in her mouth before she agreed to let her ex-beau, v.g., put it to film.
i think she was just pissed at how that cow was trying to sensationalize it.
if it had been terri gross talking to her about it i don't think chloe would been giving out dagger stares.

Chloe cried at Cannes because people booed the film, not because she gave head to Gallo. I think Paxton went a little overboard with this entire thing. Quite frankly Joy's question was funny and it is in her style to push limits. Look, if a computer programmer wrote a crappy program or a virus at his former company, wouldn't you expect to be asked about it at your next interview? It's relavent. These acters go onto the show like "The View" to promote their shows and in exchange they are interviewed. If Chloe can't handle the question then she shouldn't have done the scene.

yeah it's true Chloe should be prepared to answer questions about that scene.. i mean she shouldn't have done it if she wasn't prepared to deal with the repercussions. But then again, Joy should either have avoided the question completely OR asked it in a much more tasteful way... instead of blurting out "what about that oral sex you did in The Brown Bunny?" you can totally see the shock on Chloe's face. I'm so glad Bill stepped in for her

Get over yourselves. Joy is a comedian and I think its fucking hilarious. She blew him, she needs to realize that its film. If she didn't want to do the scene she shouldnt have taken the role. Need I say it again, GET OVER YOURSELVES. Don't appear on talk shows if your not going to talk about whatever they spit at you.... better yet, fuck off.

To those who say that if Sevigny performs an unsimulated blowjob on film, she better be prepared to answer questions about it: Uh, she has been. For almost three years. Let's move on. If she knew that the career payoff for deep-throating Gallo would be recounting the experience for a bunch of hard-up hausfraus on a daytime talk show, I'm sure she wouldn't have bothered. Or, at least, she wouldn't have swallowed.

I think if you go on a show to talk about one movie you're quite entitled to be annoyed if someone brings up something you did several years ago, particularly if they do it for sensationalist reasons. I didn't see the interview so don't know the exact context here, but there is normally a pretty clear understanding on talk shows of what sort of questions are going to be asked, and going beyond that is sort of a breach of trust.
