Google Search: The Bachelor's Moana Dixon
After last night's thrilling 2 hour episode, it's down to two lucky ladies vying for the heart and the manly meatiness of Travis Stork. Now it's a toss up between kindergarten teacher Sarah Stone and LA hispter Moana Dixon. While Stork and Stone share as much chemistry as a 6 year-old and a bowl of fiber-enriched nutri-grain cereal , Moana seems poised to take the (beef)cake. But after a quick google search and the discovery of Moana's My Space page, we now think otherwise. After the jump, we investigate Moana's page for signs of heartbreak.
- First off this tenacious warrior of life' who lists her status as 'single' is looking for someone who has "touched the center of his own sorrow". My sense is Travis ain't that guy.
- Plus in the comments section, someone named Aaron wrote on 2/13 "You should convince Nick to bring you to the wedding. It is going to be a blast!! I promise to shed some happiness... " Nick? who's that? could it be a rebound guy invited last minute to a wedding. Sounds like a post-heartbreak cheer-up gesture to me.
- Also check out this picture posted in December where she looks like she's out on a date. Could this be the now infamous 'Nick'?
- Plus in one riveting blog entry on Nov. 23rd she quotes Jeff Buckley: "Well maybe I'm just too young. To keep good love from going wrong." Perhaps, or it could be that you looked for love on a TV show.
If you're not convinced by now that Moana got dumped, then you're probably thinking about how Best Week Ever has too much time on its hands.

They don't pay you guys enough to sully your souls with that kind of research. Whatever happened to the issues? What ever happened to journalism and the quest for truth - ooh wait - did I just hear Tomkat's over?

The guy she is dating is the second person in her top 8.

Thanks for the info and I am so glad that Moana is out on a date with a good looking guy. Travis Stork didn't have any class whatsoever and deserves to live his boring life in Nashville with the teacher. Wish I could tell her my son thinks she is so classy....and get this, he's a good looking pharmacist. I wish her all the luck in the world...It was his loss and her gain in this show.

I think that Moana is the best girl I have ever seen. she is a honest beautiful person, and that travis guy made a horrible choice. I would love to meet her and tell her how great she is.

Her honesty and sensitivity passed through the Mitsubishi and hit me in the face. That boring MD does not deserve a woman of such fullness and heart. I do. Sure I'm only a Pharmacist in L.A. lost angels, but I feel for her and want to reach out and make her laugh out loud and feel happy ,again.

Unbelievable!!! It's 1:15 am pacific time and I am still in shock! You are bar none the most beautiful woman the Bachelor has had. I was hooked with your beauty, intelligence and articulate speech weeks ago and have sung your praises since. So you can understand how devastated I am that Travis did not choose you. I'm sure the last person you want to hear from is another emergency room physician, but I would love to sit and talk with you at Zinc Cafe in Laguna Beach or wherever. Feel free to stop me as I ride through San Clemente on a black Colnago bicycle, or email me.

Hi
I watch the bachelor...and Moana looked so upset..just hoping she's doing fine...Please let me know...!!!!!!!!!!!

Who wants to be a doctor's wife anyways? Their long work hours and subsequent neglect is so isolating. I hope they have a Bachelor show for all the "other girls" that never had a chance on the show.
Thanks for showing a spiritual, introspective and tender side. There is someone out there just for you!

I keep reading about how "exotic" Moana was. What was that all about? Moana looked beautiful. People have small minds out there and should visit the melting pot that is California.

I have rarely felt as much compassion for someone as for Moana on The Bachelor. I think she was the most outstanding woman on the show. She was classy and stayed above the viciousness that surrounded her. The show is cruel.
I think she was intimidated by her own perception that she is not good enough. This is why she was intimidated by his family.
Girls like her don't get guys like him? Guys like him don't deserve a woman like her. Anyway, would you want to be called Mrs Dork for the rest of your life?
This has been a great learning and healing experience for her, and I hope she won't be afraid to put her heart on the line in future. You have to bet big to win big.

Moana - you are so much better off without him. YOU are incredible and I know you will be fine. Remember you are a strong woman, beautiful and smart and guess what? You can definitely get the part of your heart back you gave him because that piece does not want to be there with him. Good luck!

I cant believe he fell for Moana, she must have been a tiger in the sack on the fantasy date. guaranteed. she has major baggage and doesnt fool me for a sec with all that poetry BS. give me a break. canned solilquies.
if she married a doctor she'd spend his money and wear out his sheets with other guys, really fast.
figure yourself out first before you go on TV to find a rich boyfriend. I love how she said "I didnt want him at all when I got to Paris, I wasnt looking for this". What were you looking for? you go on TV on a show called 'the bachelor' but you arent desperate for a guy? bullshizzy! who buys into this crap?

Moana, You are a lovely, complex, exciting women. You deserve to be tenderly cherished and understood. I felt your pain and cryed with you. You are extremely special and it is hard for special people to find a match. You will be just fine. I hope that someone will come along and brighten your life as much as you are able to brighten their's.

Moana, you will find exactly what you are looking for. Travis wanted a kept woman, and that is what he chose. You were too much of a woman for him. He chose the weasel. Wonder how he's gonna feel when Sarah starts having kids and losing her "girlish" looks! You deserve someone who is deep like you and loves you endlessly! I wish you Love and Happiness!

Sarah's mom piked the not too sparkled dress?? Hello...for that kinda of taste, Moana has more than Mr.Momma's boy could ever find in Sarah. Moana I admire your way of thinking and how you carry yourselve. Mr. Handsome is in LA... Stay how you are..

OMG, does anoyone not see that she is a tad unstable here? I give her the looks, intelligence, fun, spontanteous attributes hands down. But she is def not "marriage" material. She needs to really get a tad more grounded before she runs through her emotional rollercoaster on NATIONAL TV!

OMG - This girl can do so much better than that Dip-S on tv - I'm sorry that she fell for him - but this boy definately needs to grow some Ball's and quit listening to mommy and daddy for advice. His parents were rude and he deserves to live with Ms. Thang in Nashville.

After watching the final episode of the Bachelor, and saw the two women that remained, I was struck by Moana Dixon. The fact that she was speechless during the interview with Travis's parents made me want to almost break down. I feel like that everyday. Maybe she just hasn't found herself yet. I would have chosen her.

WOW the only thing i can say about you is CLASSY CLASSY CLASSY. You are sooooo beautiful you took my breath away and the way you talk and the way you carry yourself is what makes you special. He doesnt deserve someone like you anyways. I love your style and i would love to go shopping with.

Moana...I wanna know how you are doing. We were all in shocked that Travis didn't choose you. I can't believe it!! You are so gorgoeous...strong...a complete package. Take care....

Moana is clearly an imbecile. Having a crappy childhood does not automatically relegate you to "deep." And she had no style whatever with the parents of Dr. Dork.
Posted by: tweezers | Feb 28, 2006 4:34:06 PM
I pray that you are doing better. I really feel for you. You were not the only one who was in shock. I was in shock myself!!! I don't understand why he didn't choose you. Even his sister and brother-in-law felt that there was such a bonding between you two. You are beautiful, have depth, honest, don't talk bad about other girls, you cook, you don't pretend to be someone else you are not, you are sporty, adventurous!!! You have so much to offer!!!
Maybe his family has such an impact on him. They really like Sarah. At the end he also did not propose to Sarah!!! He was really playing on safe. Maybe he was more following his head than his heart.
Anyway don't let the negative comments get on you. That's the thing with national tv. Read the ones from people who do support you and just ignore/skip those who are not worth reading. People are so quick to judge others.
Remember guys: the way you judge others you will be judged also. That someone is on national tv doesn't give you the right to humiliate or to debase someone.
Take care and may God comfort you!!!

Moana is not that good looking and would be nothing but trouble in the future. Who wants to marry or even date that disaster waiting to happen . Hope this doesn't make her cry some more fake tears! Tom
